Alfagomma – Vimercate Project

Alfagomma S.p.A., a leading company in the industrial sector, has chosen Quantum for the lighting redevelopment of its headquarters in Vimercate (MB), focusing on a technologically advanced solution oriented towards people’s well-being.

The project involved the adoption of a Human Centric Lighting (HCL) system, a technology that aims to reproduce the course of natural light throughout the day, in tune with human circadian rhythms. At the heart of the system are tunable white LED luminaires, capable of modulating both colour temperature (from warm to cold) andlight intensity, depending on the time of day and activity.

This design choice does not only respond to aesthetic or functional logics, but is based on scientific studies showing that dynamic lighting can have a positive impact on mood, concentration, productivity and sleep quality. For a modern, high-performance working environment such as ALFAGOMMA’s, the combined effect of simulated natural light and intelligent control results in healthier, stimulating and sustainable environments.

Quantum handled the entire operational process:

• preliminary lighting analysis and diagnosis,
• customised plant design,
• supply of high-efficiency appliances,
• integration of an intelligent automated management system,
• installation and final testing.
