Fly – Valsugana

Located in the heart of Valsugana, FLY S.p.A. represents Italian manufacturing excellence in the aeronautical, aerospace and energy sectors. Young, dynamic and continuously expanding, the company has madetechnological innovation and operational precision its hallmarks, winning a leading role on the international industrial scene.

In 2021, FLY chose Quantum for a strategic intervention to improve energy efficiency and lighting quality throughout the production site. The goal was to equip the plant with a system capable of sustaining intense work rhythms while ensuring visibility, reliability and safety in every operational area.

The intervention included the design and installation of about 400 LED lighting fixtures, mounted at an average height of 13 metres, capable of ensuring high performance even in complex production environments. The work involved not only the production departments, but also the outdoor areas, the goods loading/unloading zones, and the entire internal road network of the plant, for a coherent, homogeneous and optimised system in every detail.

The Quantum approach, based on tailor-made solutions, made it possible to meet the customer’s functional and qualitative requirements in a timely manner, significantly improving lighting uniformity, visual ergonomics and the level of safety in every context.

The intervention generated an annual energy saving of 73%, significantly reducing the site’s operating costs and environmental impact. The collaboration between FLY and Quantum demonstrates howadvanced industrial lighting can contribute concretely to supporting the growth of high-tech companies, supporting their values of efficiency, innovation and sustainability.
