Valvitalia – Rivanazzano Project

Valvitalia S.p.A., an Italian multinational company specialising in the design and production of valves, actuators and flow control systems in the gas, water, energy and fire-fighting sectors, has chosen Quantum for the redevelopment of the lighting system at its Rivanazzano (PV) factory.

The intervention is part of a path of energy efficiency and technological innovation undertaken by the Valvitalia Group to make its production plants increasingly sustainable, safe and efficient. The Rivanazzano site, the nerve centre of the group’s industrial activities, has been the subject of a complete replacement of the old lighting fixtures, which are now obsolete and underperforming, with new high-efficiency LED solutions, integrated in the advanced QLight™ management system.

The project started with an in-depth technical survey andenergy analysis of the existing state, aimed at identifying the inefficiencies of the existing system and designing a solution tailored to the specific needs of the site. Particular attention was paid to ensuring light uniformity, glare reduction and compliance with regulatory requirements for industrial environments and workplaces.

Thanks to the use of the QLight™ system, each lighting point is now remotely controlled and programmable according to actual operational needs: lighting flows dynamically adapt to production activities, attendance, working hours and daylight levels, ensuring maximum efficiency and energy savings, without compromising on visibility and safety.

The results achieved as a result of the intervention are impressive:

• Significant reduction in annual electricity consumption for lighting;
• Immediate cuts in operating and maintenance costs thanks to the long life of LED sources;
• Increased visual comfort for workers, with positive effects on well-being and productivity;
• Improved interior security through optimal light distribution even in the most critical areas.
