Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. – Lighting Retrofit of the Logistics Department
Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of luxury sports cars, internationally renowned for its iconic design, high performance, and technological innovation in the automotive sector. The company operates within a highly advanced industrial environment, characterized by sophisticated production processes and a strong focus on the quality of working conditions.
For the logistics department of the Sant’Agata Bolognese production site, Quantum Srl carried out a complete lighting retrofit, fully replacing the existing luminaires with latest-generation LED fixtures, equipped with stand-alone presence and daylight sensors.
The project was developed in accordance with the Quantum method, starting from an in-depth survey phase and a detailed executive lighting design, with the aim of ensuring illumination levels compliant with UNI EN 12464-1 and UNI EN 12464-2 standards, while simultaneously improving safety and visual comfort for operators.
As mentioned, the adopted solution includes the integration of stand-alone presence and daylight sensors on each lighting point, allowing automatic regulation of the lighting output based on actual space usage and environmental conditions, without the implementation of a centralized control system. This configuration enables simple and efficient system management, while maintaining high lighting performance and a more efficient use of light.
Quantum managed the project as a single point of contact, overseeing all phases: from design to the supply of technological solutions, from installation to compliant disposal of decommissioned materials, through to final testing and staff training, ensuring an intervention aligned with the quality and sustainability standards required by Automobili Lamborghini.
