Berlin Packaging – Acquasparta Project
The lighting retrofit project at the Acquasparta facility covered the entire production site, including processing and packaging areas, warehouses, offices, and outdoor spaces. The primary objective was to improve lighting quality, provide a safer and more comfortable environment for personnel, and significantly reduce energy consumption across the site.
Quantum began with a detailed technical survey, analyzing the existing installation and identifying critical areas in terms of light uniformity, safety, and energy performance. Based on this assessment, a customized solution was developed, involving the complete replacement of existing fixtures with state-of-the-art industrial LEDs, chosen to ensure high performance, durability, and reliability.
To maximize energy efficiency, motion and luminance sensors were installed throughout the facility, allowing fully automated lighting control according to personnel presence and natural daylight levels. This approach ensures that lights are only on when needed and always at optimal levels. The intervention yielded tangible results: substantial energy savings, reduced maintenance requirements, enhanced visual comfort, and increased workplace safety, positively impacting productivity. The project demonstrates how technological innovation can combine sustainability, efficiency, and employee well-being in a modern industrial environment.
