Berlin Packaging – Trezzano sul Naviglio Project

The lighting retrofit project at the Trezzano sul Naviglio facility covered all areas of the plant, including production lines, warehouses, offices, and loading/unloading zones. The main goal was to improve lighting quality, enhance safety and comfort for personnel, and significantly reduce energy consumption.

Quantum conducted a detailed technical survey of the existing installation, identifying critical areas in terms of light uniformity, efficiency, and operational safety. Based on this assessment, a customized solution was developed, involving the complete replacement of fixtures with high-efficiency industrial LEDs, chosen to ensure high performance, reliability, and long lifespan.

To further optimize energy efficiency, motion and luminance sensors were installed, allowing automatic adjustment of light intensity according to personnel presence and available natural light. The system operates in an intelligent and sustainable way, reducing waste without compromising safety and visual comfort. The results were clear: energy savings, lower maintenance costs, a safer and more comfortable work environment, positively impacting productivity and employee well-being. This project confirms Berlin Packaging’s commitment to technological innovation and industrial sustainability.
