RTM Breda S.r.l. – Lighting retrofit at the Cormano headquarters

In 2024, RTM Breda S.r.l., a company specialized in the production of precision mechanical components, chose Quantum for the complete retrofit of the lighting system at its Cormano (MI) headquarters. The project covered all areas of the facility, including the workshop, the laboratories, and the executive and administrative offices.

The design approach was tailored to the different functional needs of each environment: in the industrial areas, the priority was to ensure high illuminance levels, light uniformity, and visual safety for operators; in the offices, the focus was on visual comfort and employee well-being, with solutions that reduce eye strain and improve the quality of daily work.

Thanks to the replacement of the entire lighting system with latest-generation LED fixtures and a custom lighting design, RTM Breda achieved an overall energy saving of about 80% compared to the previous system. This result not only reduces operating costs but also contributes to the company’s environmental sustainability, in line with the latest efficiency standards.

Quantum managed every stage of the process – from the energy audit and custom lighting design to the supply, installation, and commissioning of the new system – delivering a true turnkey solution with no impact on daily production and office activities. This project is a concrete example of how lighting can be designed to meet the needs of both industrial facilities and office environments, combining efficiency, comfort, and technological innovation.
