Berlin Packaging – Albaredo Project
The lighting retrofit project at the Albaredo facility covered all production areas, warehouses, logistics zones, and outdoor spaces. The intervention aimed to ensure uniform and high-quality lighting, enhance worker safety and comfort, and significantly reduce overall energy consumption.
Quantum conducted a detailed technical survey of the existing installation, identifying areas with low light uniformity and energy inefficiencies. Based on this study, a customized solution was developed, replacing all fixtures with high-performance industrial LEDs, selected to ensure reliability, durability, and consistent light output over time.
To maximize energy efficiency, motion and luminance sensors were installed across the facility, enabling intelligent automated lighting based on personnel presence and available daylight. This system ensures always adequate illumination, reduces waste, and improves visual comfort and safety in every area. The results were immediately evident: reduced energy consumption, lower maintenance, enhanced safety and employee well-being, with a positive impact on the overall productivity of the facility. The project confirms Berlin Packaging’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in its industrial sites.
